got the new computer up and running with a sick ass samsung 22” lcd i got for $100. not bad! so migrated all my sims stuff over from the macbook and decided to bust out devonhall/randomland and get to work. i’m working on the richy rich island right now. the first elevated estate is what we’re looking at here. it’s all surrounded by trees and such ^__^
i really love terrain painting!! sculpting can get tedious but the two processes work very well together and it’s very relaxing. sigh. <3caw

i love sculpting/terrain painting. sorry shit graphics. not sure why i’m posting pics honestly lol. new comp soon though!
this is the start of Devonhall (code named “Randomland”). more about it later i’m so tired.

ok. i don’t know why it’s so impossible for me to just START ALREADY. i’ve been reading tutorials, gathering inspirational resources, planning multiple worlds. i’ve played with the tools here and there, drawn maps, created world info docs. i need a kick in the arse to actually just GO. i don’t want to get really far sculpting and realize i have to go back to add something i really want. crippling perfectionist syndrome means every last detail has to be planned to the last dotted ‘i’ before i even start. usually resulting in my getting nothing actually done. it’s lame.
