ok i’m done with this one for now. it’s just a shell for now no decor XD. i’m going to have to come back to it though i have too much of a mix of arches/windows. was trying to emulate the boston public library ‘cause i liked it during my inspiration search. oh well. #sims3buildlimitations

Leaside - Leaside Public Library
soo slowly moving along with Leaside. It’s been weeks and all i have is a park, a city hall, and a library shell. none of which are done because i will never be satisfied.
so have a shitty CAW pic complete with yellow lines and bad camera angles. meh.
i’m about to go fully in game with my cc to finish this. my world will be FULL of cc because there’s nothing complete with the build/buy sets EA has provided. i can’t even show the front yet because it’s like so bad mix of styles right now. oh well i hadn’t planned on sharing it for this reason anyway.

ok i know it’s possible to extract objects from EA store worlds and make them show up in CAW Metadata. HOWEVER is it also possible make it so they’re “base game compatible” so you don’t have to have the dumb laggy world installed just to use said objects? i’d love to extract a bunch from different worlds but i’m so not having all those worlds installed just for an object or two per world. hmm…
god that was a mouthful but i hope it made sense.

k no more city hall after this. i just have fun looking at stuff in different lighting. i think i’m using UL ini files but i’ll have to tweak them a bit o un-pinkify. what the obsession with blindingly pink/purple sunsets is is beyond me. there’s really a lot of empty space that i have no idea what to do with. meeeeeeeeeh.

i wanted it to be grand and symmetrical. i kind of copied bridgeport obvs XD. i’m probably going to tweak this more later but it was such a boring and difficult lot that i moved on to the park. laterzzz.

this is my first house that will see the light of day or… the internet. i have a hard time finishing anything but these holidays have been great!
so i’m finally really going to start Leaside. figured building some houses would motivate me in CAW so here we are. more to come obviously.
