that moment when you find an awesome download on a simblr, heart it, download it in game, GAME FAILS, test in dashboard, and then realize it’s sims 2 stuff.
in my defense the download blog says NOTHING about which game they predominantly create for but when i went back to check the pics looked very 2ish XD lol. ridic.

ok i know it’s possible to extract objects from EA store worlds and make them show up in CAW Metadata. HOWEVER is it also possible make it so they’re “base game compatible” so you don’t have to have the dumb laggy world installed just to use said objects? i’d love to extract a bunch from different worlds but i’m so not having all those worlds installed...

thanks lovely TSD ladies for your help with my game and listening to me whine lol. i’m affraid to even jinx it but i managed to get past CAS and got lauren jean hall into appaloosa plains for a minute before bed. i usually start by clawing through all the new build/buy items i got about halfway through and i’m pumped! weeeee….

Windowed mode is known to cause issues for most people. Maybe try full windowed mode and tabbing out? Hope you get things to work though.

So I can’t play. Game keeps crashing in CAS which never happened to me before I wasted $65 plus my whole Saturday just trying to make it work. Aaaand my internet just decided to fuck off too so I can’t even troubleshoot writing this from my phone. This is why I don’t bother playing. It is a glitchy piece of unplayable shit. Back to CAW.

crashed in CAS after i picked my sim from the bin and tested a couple hairs out. decided it was time to start fresh. redid all DEPs and LAAs emptied cache, and updated graphics card drivers. i think i got everything. loading up now let’s hope it works!
